You’ve found her! My talks focus on how human connection—not AI—drives motivation and career success. I combine comedic yet poignant storytelling with actionable frameworks and audience interaction. Feedback consistently ranks me as a top keynote speaker.
I hate boring keynote speakers. Nobody wants to sit through someone talking at a podium for 60 minutes. I bring humor—physical and verbal—and a ton of surprising audience interaction. Audiences have fun, learn, and leave inspired to take action. I also come across as very authentic—you know the real me—and I offer a fresh perspective as a woman, not another old white guy telling the same tired story.
I speak to audiences of all types. The most common are: association conferences, company teams, employee resource groups, and women’s conferences.
I speak on topics including human connection in the age of AI, preventing burnout, team motivation, confidence, combating impostor syndrome, communication, personal branding, and career growth and development. If you don’t see a specific topic on my website, reach out anyway—I have a large catalog of talks I don’t publicly advertise.
My rates vary based on the size, scope, and format of your event (in-person or virtual). Please get in touch to learn more.
I’m so glad you reached out — and I’m really glad you found me. At this point in my practice, I no longer offer free coaching consultations. I’ve found that the best coaching happens when someone is truly ready to dive in, commit to the process, and do the deeper work that leads to real change.
That said, I want you to have everything you need to get a feel for me and my approach. You can learn a ton about my style and philosophy through my podcast appearances, my Forbes column, my newsletter, and my almost-daily posts on LinkedIn. Those resources will give you a clear sense of whether my coaching might be a good fit for where you are right now.
If what you see resonates and you feel ready to invest in structured support, I’d be excited to explore working together.
Your first step should be to sign up for the Career Reset. For $99, you’ll complete a comprehensive questionnaire designed to help you reflect deeply and honestly on where you are and what you want. Once you submit your answers, I review them closely and record a personalized video with concrete, actionable guidance tailored to you.
Many people who start with a Career Reset choose to continue with full coaching afterward because the insights from the video alone can create meaningful clarity and momentum. As one recent client shared: “The Career Reset alone was life-changing, so I can’t imagine what actual coaching with you is like. I’m in.
In general, here’s how I think about the differences between types of coaches:
Career coaches work with individuals on their résumé, LinkedIn, and job applications.
Executive coaches work with leaders who want to grow in their roles.
Leadership coaches work with people who want to improve how they lead at work.
Life coaches work with clients less on career and more on their holistic life—such as navigating relationships or circumstances that no longer serve them.
I call myself an executive career coach. An executive career coach helps high-achieving professionals both elevate how they lead and clarify where they’re going next. It’s a blend of strategic career direction and deep leadership development. Unlike traditional career coaches who focus on résumés and job searches, or executive coaches who center solely on leadership behaviors, an executive career coach guides clients through the intersection of the two: defining their ideal career path, strengthening the skills required to excel at the next level, and creating an action plan that brings both into reality. This type of coaching is for people who want more than a job change or more than leadership training—they want aligned, sustainable career growth with clarity, confidence, and purpose.
Here are the two types of people I tend to work best with:
1. People who want to level up in their careers.
Maybe you’ve taken on a new high-profile role, inherited a team, or want to strengthen your personal brand at work. Maybe you’ve realized that the skills that got you here won’t necessarily take you to the next level. I help you identify blind spots, build the capabilities you need, and take meaningful action.
2. People who feel lost or stuck in their careers and don’t know what’s next.
Maybe you’re burnt out, confused, or operating on autopilot. I take you through a comprehensive audit where we identify your strengths, what energizes you, and how to translate that into a career direction that actually fits—with concrete steps to move forward.
Here’s who I don’t work with:
People who only want a résumé or LinkedIn refresh (a traditional career coach is a better fit for that).
People who are required to sign up for coaching due to remediation or performance issues.
Yes, I do work with men! My community, the Women’s Leadership Accelerator, is for women, but I coach both men and women.
Yes. I have a team of incredibly talented contract coaches that I use for team-wide or company-wide engagements. Please use my Get in Touch form to chat more about how those partnerships work.
I’m glad you asked. After you take the Career Reset Questionnaire and decide you want to work together, I’ll help you make the case (through my library of email templates and PowerPoint presentation decks) to get your company to pay for coaching.
When you’re my client, you’re not just a name on my calendar—you’re someone I’m fully invested in. My coaching blends deep empathy with practical, evidence-based strategy. While I’m not a clinical therapist, I was raised by one, so I bring a nuanced understanding of how early experiences shape our beliefs about work. That dynamic is always present in my coaching.
I also bring a strong business foundation: I hold an MBA from Duke and combine psychological insight with strategic thinking, structure, and concrete action plans. I listen deeply, challenge you thoughtfully, and provide the expertise and accountability you need to make real progress. Along the way, we’ll laugh, too—because growth doesn’t have to be serious all the time.
I am both your strategic partner and your biggest advocate, and that support doesn’t end when our session does.
Here are a few things I offer that many coaches don’t:
High-impact introductions. I regularly make personal introductions within my network when I see opportunities that align with your goals.
Ongoing access. You get my cell phone number, and you’re welcome to text or send voice memos between sessions. Our work isn’t confined to a 60-minute block—I’m in your corner throughout the entire engagement.
Speaking opportunities. Because I’m also a professional speaker, I’m frequently asked for speaker referrals. When the fit is right, I recommend clients for those opportunities.
Once you’ve worked with me, I consider you a client for life. My commitment to your growth and success continues long after our formal coaching engagement ends.
You've come to the right place. We're far more budget friendly than most external leadership development programs for women, but we pack way more value into a 12-month period.
This program is different from others in a few key ways. First, it gives members access to both executive and career coaches—not just one or the other. Members can attend unlimited coaching calls, whereas many similar communities up-sell for coaching.
Next, it’s designed for women across industries, functions, and levels. Many communities focus on narrower groups like “women in tech” or “C-suite women.” Our strength is in our diversity of thought, experience, and exposure. It’s not uncommon for a new manager in healthcare to get advice from a seasoned director in tech (and vice versa). The depth and breadth of conversation that comes from the many perspectives in the room is a core part of what makes us unique.
We also offer a proprietary 12-week curriculum that members complete at their own pace. Each member is paired with an accountability partner to support progress, introspection, and connection.
Additionally, the program takes place outside company walls, creating virtually no lift for companies to participate.
Lastly, our price point is intentionally competitive given the level of access members receive to top-tier coaches.
Our members must identify as female, and we ask that they have at least eight years of professional experience. We also look for a demonstrated trajectory toward leadership roles and a track record of accomplishments—such as industry awards, publications, community involvement, or regular conference attendance.
We ask that members have a genuine interest in networking with other members and be willing to both give and receive value within the community. We also require that members maintain a LinkedIn profile for identity verification purposes.
We don’t have age restrictions. We have women who have just reached the eight-year mark in their professional journey, as well as women who are approaching retirement. Age diversity is important to us!
We believe that magical things happen when women are in rooms together. Our Founder, Julia Korn, began her career in finance as the only woman on a team of ten men. She quickly realized how crucial it would have been to have a woman-only space to seek guidance, share experiences, and access coaching tailored to her challenges.
Even though progress has been made toward workplace equality, the reality is stark. The gender wage gap has widened for the first time in decades, with women in the U.S. earning, on average, just 84 cents for every dollar earned by men. Studies show that women still shoulder a disproportionate share of caregiving and household responsibilities, even while working full time. Women also face systemic barriers at work: being policed on personality traits, being passed over for promotions, underrepresented in leadership, and often lacking the executive-level sponsorship that can accelerate careers.
We know that women are natural networkers and community builders. By creating a space exclusively for women, we amplify the power of shared experience, mentorship, and support. This isn’t just about career growth—it’s about rewriting the rules so women can thrive, lead, and lift each other up in ways that only a women-centered community can enable.
Outcomes are unique to each member, but the impact is consistently profound. Women in our program regularly experience accelerated career growth: they get promoted, secure raises, land new roles, and gain the confidence to advocate for themselves. Beyond tangible career wins, they also grow in clarity and self-awareness—understanding their values, strengths, and priorities, and learning to say no to opportunities that don’t serve them.
Members report stronger, more effective relationships at work, including better collaboration with bosses and colleagues. Many describe feeling happier, more competent, and more in control of their professional journey. In short, the program doesn’t just help women advance—it equips them to thrive in every aspect of their careers.
Across the board, our data shows that women who engage deeply with coaching, accountability, and peer support experience measurable increases in confidence, career satisfaction, and leadership presence. These are outcomes that compound over time, creating lasting impact both professionally and personally.
We believe that if you’re investing in your leadership development while on the job, your company should support that investment. Once you enroll, we’ll equip you with everything you need to make the ask confidently—including email templates, presentation decks, and step-by-step guidance.
If your company decides not to cover the cost, our pricing is designed to remain competitive compared to similar programs, ensuring the value of coaching, community, and curriculum is accessible. Either way, we make it easy for members to get the support they need—whether from their company or directly themselves.
No. Employment is not required, and we don’t have any rules against joining while unemployed. It’s just not the norm. We do have members who are between jobs, and they often use our coaching sessions for support with job searching and networking. Being in a community where most members are employed can actually be helpful—people are generous with connections and advice.
That said, WLA isn’t a job-seeking community. Most members who become unemployed do so after joining, often because coaching gives them clarity to make a change. They usually stay as they navigate their transition and begin their next chapter.
No. This community is designed for women who work within companies, not full-time entrepreneurs. We don’t offer the kind of support most entrepreneurs need, and there are many communities better suited for that.
If you’re employed at a company and exploring a side hustle, many of our members do that and get coaching on it. But this isn’t the place for guidance on things like forming an LLC, building a website, or other entrepreneurial operations.
Membership is $1,500 annually, paid upfront. We host bi-weekly coaching sessions and monthly events. During the initial 12-week curriculum, expect to spend about an hour per week; after that, the time commitment decreases.
We generally recommend planning for 1–2 hours per month to get and give real value. Some members attend everything, while others step back during busy periods—there are no strict requirements. The women who benefit most tend to engage at that 1–2 hour/month level, which also leaves space for asynchronous participation in the community and curriculum.
We protect our members’ confidentiality, so we don’t facilitate direct introductions. However, we have several public testimonials on our website from members who’ve consented to be contacted. You can also look for the Women’s Leadership Accelerator badge on LinkedIn—those members are comfortable being reached out to.
Yes! We work with companies that want to invest in coaching and leadership development for women high potentials but don’t have in-house programs. We require a minimum of 10 seats and provide a full, white-glove experience. Reach out through the contact form on our website.
